Tour Details

Discover the mystery behind “The Land of No Return” that is Culion.

Paradise lost, paradise found. For centuries, picturesque Culion Town remained isolated due to its distant location and its being the home of one of the world’s largest leper colonies during the early 1900s. The locals, including the patients, built the town themselves – a community where everyone belonged. Today, Culion stands leprosy-free but remains proud of its unique and poignant history.

Walk along the paths of this quaint town and step back into time with a visit to La Immaculada Concepcion Church (which was built during the 17th century), the Fort, the Culion Museum & Archives, as well as various old buildings that pepper the town’s streets.Truly, this tour is an enchanting mix of history and natural beauty!
